Proact Security – Commended for outstanding police partnerships

Stuart Grainger, Proact Security Area Supervisor – Midlands, received a Local Policing Chief Superintendent Award from West Midland’s Police.  Stuart was recognised for his work combating retail crime in the City, but moreover building solid retail partnerships with the police.

Chief Superintendent, Clive Burgess was quoted as saying, “Stuart’s contribution and willingness to support the police is highly praised and is an excellent example of how working in partnership can achieve excellent results”. Stuart’s expertise and depth of knowledge of the retail landscape, had a dramatic affect on local crime in the City of Birmingham.

In a separate token of appreciation for his team’s work, Loss Prevention Officer – Scott McCalliog was also awarded a Community Award – for providing invaluable evidence to West Midland’s Police in addressing pick-pocketing that was targeting members of the public. On presenting the award, Chief Superintendent, Emma Barnett stated, “Scotts contribution and willingness to support the police is highly praised and is an excellent example of how working in partnership can achieve excellent results”.

It’s great to see them get this recognition for their initiative and all the hard work they have done.
